July (so far)
Weather has been a little unkind to the north this month, however we have managed to strike good days when it counted.
I have two Japanese clients that have been fishing with me for 7 years, they were booked in for early July and the sun came out nicely as did the Barramundi. The guys are excellent anglers and huge Barramundi fans, the had a great trip finding schools of Barra willing to eat lures. The guys only have two rules for there Barra fishing, barbless hook and release all fish.

After Charlies Aurkun adventure he hadn’t quite got enough flyfishing action, so we headed for the pelagics of Cape York. We found plenty of pelagics offshore and a bit of flats fishing in between. The action was aplenty, Tuna, Mackeral and Trevally crashing big bait balls more than accounted for Charlies fix of fly action.

Still more to come for July with Thien here all next week.
August is booked out, September has a few days early to mid, October middle week is available and so far the second half of November and early December have some vacancies.
Check out August Modern Fishing, Micah Adams did a couple of days GT popper fishing with us and the article is in there.
