2006 Update
The first week in September has just been cancelled, the tides are very good and the build up to fullmoon is a prime time for fishing at Hinchinbrook, both inshore and bluewater.
There is also some dates left in the second half of October and November, also prime months for Hinchinbrook, promises to be a good year late in the season with a continuing wet season flushing out all of the lagoons and wetlands and keeping plenty of bait in the estuaries and beaches.
I have an article out in the next Flylife publication and also in the August Modern fishing will be Micah’s article he did while Popper fishing with us, hopefully they’ll both be worth a read.
It looks as if we may have another feather in our cap shortly, a private lagoon system holding good stocks of Saratoga, Sooty Grunter and Barramundi, more news on that very soon.
